Note: You must run all the commands in command prompt with full privileges, Simply right click on command prompt and select Run as Administrator.

bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No
This will disable the startup recovery option as default in windows 7 or Vista after power-failure.
bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled Yes
This will enable the startup recovery option again in windows 7 or Vista after power-failure.

bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures
This will disable all the startup recovery option after power-failures.
bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy displayallfailures
This will enable all the startup recovery option after power-failures.


This will be useful for the running webserver or any third-party server on win 7.
